Probate Court

Welcome to the Lexington County Probate Court. It is located on the main floor of the Lexington County Judicial Center in downtown Lexington on the corner of East Main Street (US- 1) and South Lake Drive (SC-6).  The Probate Court handles estate administration, application and issuance of marriage licenses, guardianships for adults, conservatorships for adults and minors, and mental health commitments.

Mission Statement

“The mission of the Lexington County Probate Court is to administer justice with fairness, integrity, and compassion, to resolve matters before the court in a dignified manner with competent and motivated personnel, and to provide courteous and prompt service in a way that inspires public confidence and trust."
